Rock YOUR World!!!

Yesterday I took my good friend (that happens to be my new neighbor:) to my favorite store in SLC.  Her and I both came across Rock & Republic Jeans for $30 and then 50% off of that, so $15!!!!  We both tried some on and of course I LOVED all 3 that I tried on (darn it).  At the check stand the cashier informed us that they were actually 60% off for the next 2 hours too.  So, basically I paid $36 for 3 jeans that would normally would have cost $300.

I LOVE being a bargain shopper!!!!!!!

C FREE is the life for ME!!

I am so proud to say that I am cancer FREE!!!!  The surgery went extremely well today.  My oncologist, Dr. Hyde and Dr. Bowen were able to remove the remaining cancer as well as a clean margin.  My mom, Nate, and I arrived just after 10 and had to wait 3 hours after the first initial cut before they would stitch me up.  They have to assure they removed all the cancer before they sutcher up the site.  After 14 stitches, 3 underneath/inside (whatever that means).  I am hoping I heal fast and that my ear will look somewhat normal.

RED LOBSTER BISCUITS!!!

How would you like to save some more $?

Try making these delicious biscuits that call your name and require you to drop a ridiculous amount on food when all you really want is the biscuits.  This recipe is SUPER easy and way more affordable than the $50+ you would spend if you were to eat at Red Lobster.

Cheddar Bay Biscuits

Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups Bisquick
4 Tbsp cold butter
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
3/4 cup milk
1/4 tsp garlic powder

Butter Glaze:
3 Tbsp butter
1/2 tsp garlic powder
3/4 tsp dried parsley flakes

Directions:
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Lightly grease or line one cookie sheet with parchment; set aside.

Combine Bisquick with cold butter in a medium bowl using a pastry cutter (I just used 2 forks). Don't worry about mixing too thoroughly; there will be small chunks of butter in the mix about the size of peas. Add cheddar cheese, milk, and garlic powder. Mix by hand until combined, but don't over mix.

Drop 1/4 cup portions of the dough onto the lightly greased or parchment lined cookie sheet. Bake for 13-15 minutes in preheated oven until the tops of the biscuits begin to turn light brown.

While the biscuits are baking, melt butter is a small bowl in the microwave. Stir in garlic powder and dried parsley flakes. Use a brush to spread the garlic butter over the tops of all the biscuits. Sprinkle a little kosher salt on the freshly coated biscuits. Makes one dozen.

ENJOY!
